Hi,
I will be checking out a 1999 Toyota Camry V6 manual in a few days and I was wondering what main things I should be looking out for initially.
I have a lot of equipment (Higher level scan tool, head gasket tester, compression tester, etc.) so I can check it out pretty well by myself, of course I will have a mechanic have a final check on it.

You're well prepared. If it passes your checks, then off to the mechanic to check for frame, rust and water damage.
The other thing that Kilmer mentions is to be sure that the title is in the name of the person who is showing you the vehicle. Otra cosa, too, which you probably have already thought of. Get the Carfax, AutoCheck, etc., to ensure that the mileage adds up correctly.
Manual transmission Camrys were rare and most manual transmission Camrys had the 4 cylinder. 6 cylinder manual transmission Camrys were rarer than hens teeth. If it passes inspection then jump on it.

Since you have a scan tool and testers, that would be easy to check.
For sure, better than the 1996 I was checking out a few days ago that didn't have OBD2 because it's too old xdd
All model year 1996 and newer are legally required to be OBD2.
