Hey scotty, i have just purchased a 2000 crown vic lx with the single exhaust. It has over 170k miles on the odometer but runs fine and i only paid 3200 for it and its in almost perfect shape appearance wise the only thing is that there is a noise coming from the rear of the car but only while im on the accelerator. I had thought it was a pinion bearing of a wheelbearing but my mechanic had looked it over and said it wasnt those things and stated that it might just be a noisy fuel pump. And that i am fine driving it, whats your take on it also love your videos.
Well it's one of the last few body-on-frame cars, so it's built like a brick outhouse. You annihilate the other guy in a crash, but it's probably a pig on gas.
Its actually not so bad on gas believe it or not like im getting 20mpg which is ok in my books and if i did alot of highway drives i bet i could get 25mpg no problem but yes its built like a tank lol and its held up really well.
