I’ve owned my 2001 MR2 for 19 years and am thinking about installing a turbo with 6 or 7 pounds boost to give it a little more get up and go. I’ll be passing it on to my daughter, who learned to drive in it, so it will be in the family for several more years. It is well maintained, looks almost new, and gets driven 2 or 3 thousand miles a year, sometimes less. In your opinion, is adding a turbo a good or bad idea?

Bad idea those engines weren't made to take a turbo neither were the transmissions
Sighhhhhhhh . . . I guess I’ll enjoy what I have, a peppy, reliable, economical, cute and fun car to scoot around in . Life could be a lot worse. Thank you for the heads up.
