ok community this is my first diesel engine  its got 256000 miles on it and my questions are as follows

Is there a checklist i can get aside from jacking up the front and shaking the tires up and down and side to side to evaluate the suspension

Maybe some pointers on how to routinely maintain, or if a tune up is any different from a gasoline engine

And what is blue def? Am I going to need to add that to something?

i dont know much about diesels but def is a liquid used to reduce the amount of air pollution created by a diesel engine. Specifically DEF is an aqueous urea solution made with 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionized water. DEF is consumed in selective catalytic reduction SCR that lowers the concentration of nitrogen oxides NOₓ in the diesel exhaust emissions from a diesel engine.

i found that out and there should be by the gas tank or even inside the gas flap should be two places to add one for fuel one for blue def pretty much def helps stop pollution
