Hi Scotty, I am inheriting a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 with a Vortec 5.3L V8 in it when I turn 16. It has just over 100,000 miles. What is your opinion on this truck? Anything I should look out for? Thanks.

You're a lucky one my gmc yukon 2003 got 518k miles on it and running great I change the oil every 3k miles normal wear like new hubs, water pump, and ball joints etc. But they are great running vehicles if you take care of it and do maintainance on a normal basis.

Back in the days those are much better made vehicles have fun with it it's your last a long time to taken care of
