- Hello guys my wife has a 2007 Nissan Altima and she has 232000 miles on the car it’s time for a timing chain service and the transmission is not all that great it’s got about 80%life in the transmission got a little slippage but not allot good running vehicle should I get another engine put in since the miles are high or just do the timing chain work on the motor?? Ps nothing wrong with the engine she is quiet just too many miles any suggestions??

I would replace the timing chain.
Timing chain kit with a head gasket kit ?? While I got the motor torn apart??
