I'm I doing this right?
having hard time posting hope some one sees this 2000 Toyota Corolla 1.8 automatic transmission with ac crank no start just died out going down road mechanic said need fuel pump crankcase sensor has no codes or check engine light 98765 miles put that all in charged me 200 said he couldn't fix said he fixed the negative ground on battery he jammed a corroded wire back into new eyelet onto a painted surface so I stripped wire back and sanded the ground surface now I have gas gauge and pump works only when I crank engine over turning key on I hear no 3 second pump prime bur cranking over I hear pump fuses relays said check out injectors got power I don't know how to post help
Pressure test the fuel line, odds are you need a new fuel pump. Dying while you were driving and having no code on the dash are the failed fuel pump.
put new pump in also bench tested old one it works weird that when I put key on the pump dosen't 3 second prime but cranks over I hear pump think the new pump bad ?
Pressure test the fuel rail to find out.
