2005 chevy colorado brake and turn signal not working

My truck when I press the brakes it looks like my hazards are on in the dash but there not on in the back when I let off the brake it lets me put my turn signals only on the back and my turn signals don’t make that clicking noise when I put my turn signals what do I do? {black}:idontknow:

That's weird because you have separate stop lamp bulbs and turn signal bulbs.

Typically if the stop lamps and turn signals share the same bulb filament you'd suspect a problem with the multifunction switch. But yours doesn't share the same bulb filament.

Referring to the wiring diagram it looks like there's a Trailer Lighting Converter under the truck. What it does is to allow the trailer lights (which only have a dual filament bulb on each side)  to share the same stop lamp bulb filament and turn signal bulb filament. The other bulb filament is used for the parking light

 

 

See if yours has a trailer wiring connector. If you don't see one, check to see if there's one tucked under the bumper.

Follow the wires back to the Trailer Lighting Converter and disconnect the wiring connector going INTO it (refer to wiring diagram) and see if that helps
