Hi,
I own a 2001 Nissan Altima GXE, Automatic with 217000 miles and 2.4 L
Recently I replaced the Thermostat and Coolant temp. sensor now the cooling fan comes on more often then before. Like before I couldn't hardly tell the fan was on only on hot weather and at a stop light but know even in cold temperature the fan comes on after 10 min of driving and then it turns off.
My question is, is this normal ? and why wasn't it doing that before.

Well I would only use an oem factory sensor if you didn't about one of those cheap Chinese ones I would put in an original one but if it doesn't then well it would just mean that it's working correctly to keep your engine cool that the right temperature
