I drove a 2001 civic the other day, it was popping out of second gear with out making any grinding noises. Any ideas on what it was?
Automatic or manual?
Please include the mileage on your vehicle and the engine.
Manual, 260k miles

This symptom is usually a sign that the synchros are worn out so that it is not going completely into gear in the first place.
