I am looking at a 2001 F150 from a private seller. It has 106,000 miles, 4.6 v8 engine and automatic transmission. The owner was an elderly man and the vehicle was parked in a barn the last 2 years of his life. Current owner/seller cleaned gas tank, new gas filter, and changed plugs and coil packs among other repairs. Truck runs great except when its between 35-45 mph, then it runs rough. What are the possibilities for this? Could an Italian tune-up solve this problem since it sat for so long. The price is less than 2k. Should I take the risk? Worst case scenario?
They said that long they also need to fuel pumps removed steam clean got all the credit out and change the fuel pump and the fuel filter and pressure clean the fuel injectors that often fixes it
