Obd isn't receiving data from pcm. From the hex dealer test the only dtc showing is d262. Odometer is only displaying dashes instead of mileage. Vehicle died at a stop light and then wouldn't start. Would crank but no start. That was two months ago. Haven't been able to get it started until a week ago. It finally started, but running extremely rough and smoking. It has never ran rough or smoked before. Still only have the one dtc of d262. Odometer still only dashes. Obd still isn't receiving data from pcm. But now it starts with no hesitation but rough. Haven't tried putting it in gear or anything. Any suggestions?
Sounds like a bad pcm if i had to guess.
Check for proper grounding in the electrical system, battery in particular.
Check out this tread I found in a F-150 forum. Sounds like he had your problem and DTC code. Read thru to the end could help you out.
