Hey Scotty I’m looking at a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, automatic, 137,000 miles, and the seller said it has an exhaust leak at the flange gasket. Is this a good car? He is asking $5,000 or best offer

It's only worth a couple of thousand at best.
Did you test drive it?
I didn’t test drive it yet, I may this weekend and give an update, it looks in good shape in the photos but it’s an old ford so knows lol. My main concern was the transmission
yeah make sure it shifts firmly.
There's a reason he didn't just fix the exhaust.
