Hey scotty, I have a 2001 Ford ranger 2.5 lit with almost 221,000 miles. I’ve got a problem where the truck misfires, rough idle, tones of blue smoke out the tail pipe, and rattling at high rpms. I’ve already replaced pcv valve incase that was the problem but now I believe it’s a bad valve but what do you think?

Unfortunately sounds like that engine is just worn out. Have you done a compression test?
