Scotty, this might be a silly question - Movie called Flywheel and a mechanic in the movie messed with a guy by connecting his brake to the horn to where when he brakes the horn goes off. Can that happen in real life? Just curious
It can. The horn and brake systems are similar in design such as battery pos, a switch (horn button or brake switch), a fuse, the component, and a ground.
Basically all you would have to do is splice the horn wires after the brake light switch and it will go off whenever power is sent to the brake lights.
This of course could be dangerous and could effect the wires if too much power is drawn thru them because of a new greated demand. And dangerous for spooking the driver and anyone around.
Yes this can be done but don’t do it unless you wanna cause an accident by inadvertently spooking somebody or having some ghetto person come up and smash your window for it
