Another possible source would be sites that deal in JDM engines and transmissions imported from Japan. Cars tend to be retired in Japan with relatively low mileage due to laws that make it economically infeasible for most people to keep older vehicles on the road. So that could be a potential source of a trans that doesn't have a huge number of miles. However there may be differences between Japanese and U.S. market models that can make interchanging parts a sporting proposition.

I have no direct experience with such sites but if you do an internet search using terms such as "jdm used transmissions" you'll find quite a few.

Unless you plan to do the work yourself it's going to cost more than the car is worth to install even a used transmission. Also be aware that Honda automatic transmissions of that time period were weak and trouble-prone, so a used transmission may not be any better than what's in the car now and may even be worse.

You can search nationally on car-part.com, but I'd check your local junkyards first.

Honda transmissions are very picky about what fluid is used, stick with OEM.

I plan on doing the work myself but no one in Utah has one and the body is in really good shape the motor came from Japan should I trust any website online

If no one here has direct experience ordering from a site selling used JDM parts (I don't), you might check some Honda-specific forums for recommendations.

I googled the following: 2001 Honda Accord transmission for sale

Quite a few showed up, used and remanufactured.  If you are bound and determined to swap it out, you should be able to find one.

As far as the best site, if it was me I would at least stick with a larger named brand that has been in business for a few decades.

I would also pay a little more and buy one that had been refurbished.  You really have no clue about the running condition of any used transmission until it's been installed.
