Hi Scotty,
I have a 2001 Honda CR-V 2.0L AWD. I have a flashing check engine light that shows up as misfire when I check the scanner. I’ve changed (in this order) the distributor, spark plugs, valve cover gasket/all 4 spark plug seals (there was oil caked all around the spark plug in cylinder 3), ground wire, and spark plug wires. And yet, that damn light still flashes like I did absolutely nothing...I’m stuck on this pesky repair and it sucks frankly. ANY HELP or pointers would be great! Thanks and hope to hear back from you soon! Love the channel!
What’s the exact code & odometer reading?
When was the last time you adjusted all the valves?

Odometer reading 188,900 miles and since I’ve owned the car (bought it at 179,xxx) I have not done a valve adjustment. The code is p0300 I believe if I typed that correctly and it says random misfire
Hondas require their valves adjusted manually at fixed intervals (80,000 miles from memory), check your owners manual for the exact interval. In addition to that, feel free to browse through the link I attached above.
