2002 Honda Civic idle problem

Scotty I have a 2002 Honda Civic it idles around 400 to 500 RPM what can I do to increase the RPMs at idle cuz it seems to be causing me issues the car is not warming up like it should and I think it's putting a strain on the alternator and the battery by the way I love the Channel watch you all the time


It has a new battery and new alternator

Load test your battery and alternator output.  It may not be putting out enough current to run the electrical systems.

Then let's look at some basics; air filter, pcv valve, MAF sensor, clean throttle body, spark plugs, egr valve if it has one, etc.


I have put a new air filter changed the spark plugs


Keep going.
