Hi Scotty,
I have a 2002 Nissan Maxima recently had a fuel pump failure, and I replaced it with an OEM pump. The car ran fine after the fuel pump replacement until about 2 weeks later when the starting becomes hard (cold or hot). I can get it started by pumping on the gas peddle after about one second of cranking. Once started the car runs 100% normal. Any ideas where to look? Thanks!

Well did you change the filter too, you need to do that. Now rarely do those pumps go out if they are OEM pumps, but a lot of times people cheat and stay there OEM and they aren't. So really I would start by pressure testing that pump. It does sound like a few related problem to me
