Hard starting and misfire

I got a 2008 Hyundai accent hatchback and It broke down sometime I can get it to start but it very hard to get start the alternator is good and the starter is good also but when I do get my car to start if I let go the gas pedal it will shut back off and I can't figure it out and be honest about the situation I don't really got a lot money for a mechanic so I been trying get it fix it at home please could you give me some advice on when I should start at to get the fix and I got a code for cylinder number 4 Is misfiring p0304

It's only a 4-cylinder engine, so if it's bad enough of a misfire, the engine can't compensate, because it takes another 90⁰ before the engine can fire another cylinder (180⁰ if you have a dead cylinder) for the next cylinder to fire. That stalls the engine. V8s are able to take a misfiring cylinder, sometimes two cylinders, and keep running. My '79 Pontiac would misfire when the engine was cold, all of a sudden. A couple spark plugs had worked loose after I had gotten new ones a few months prior, and tightened when the engine was hot. 

 

Swap coils, if the misfire moves, replace with an OEM coil.

Well said mature your engine is probably shot with that misfire but swapped the number four coil with a number one coil and then if you get the misfire for number one it's just a bad coil but on those often it is the engine just breaking down because they're so cheaply made
