Thoughts on a 92’ S10 Blazer??  It has 88k miles. I don’t know anything about the vortec engine or the reliability of the model. The interior is bad and the body has some minor dings and paint faded. No wrecks, no rust. I’ve got a chance to get one but wanted to get your take on the year shd model…some blazers have gotten really bad reviews.

Are you looking for a project? Because that what it'll be. A time and money pit.

You may consider it as a weekend toy and fix some bad parts, but relying on it as a DD is insane. You will chase your tail. They're also not worth thousands of dollars in repairs to take the thing to mint condition. An every once in a while car might be OK, everyday driver? Heck no.

How do you plan on using the vehicle?

A must have toy that you have $$$$ to throw at it?  Go for it.

A reliable every day or every other day driver?  I would skip it.

Noisy, weak transmissions, if they use the same one that is in the s10 pickup anyway.

I would never buy one, I just know too many people that have had them, and similar series in that age range.

I would rather have a ford Bronco 2.
