I just recently put some new injectors on my 2003 f150 and suddenly white smoke came out? The noise it makes sounds like popping popcorn. It’s also seems to lose power or turns off on its own?

Below are a few things I’ve done.

  1. new fuel injectors
  2. fix/ made sure no leaks (I see no more leaks)
  3. new coils/spark plugs and yes calibrated spark plugs
  4. Replace/double checked new injectors o ring.
Here’s what I’m thinking cuz, bank 1 now shows. Wire harness or I didn’t fix the leak? What I don’t understand is why all of sudden it started shooting white smoke as soon as the new fuel injector’s were put in?

Did you buy OEM fuel injectors from Ford?

One more thing if it’s indicating bank 1 it’s most likely the 1st injector correct?

Not necessarily. You have 2 banks of cylinders, 1,2, and 3 are on one bank, 4, 5, and 6 are on the other bank, if you have a V6. If it's a V8, then you have one more cylinder on each bank, 7 on one, 8 on the other. Did you buy OEM parts from Ford? If you got third party injectors, they're crappy, made in China parts. Only use OEM fuel injectors.

Where is the smoke coming from. If it's coming out the exhaust the white smoke means it's getting too much fuel and it's smoking out and you probably got a bad injector

Yes! It’s coming from the exhaust. How do I check if the new injection work? Also, could that explain the loss of power it now get?
