This car sat for awhile so I unplugged the battery. Today I tried to start it, but when I connected the negative, the horn started blaring non stop, it wasn't the alarm, just continuous horn. I connected the negative and tried to use the key fob while the horn was blaring but it would not work. I tried turning it over but it would not. Any help is greatly appreciated,
Your alarm system is gone bonkers you're going to need to fix it or bypass it.Sometimes you can just remove the battery terminal for 5 minutes then put the key in the ignition and turn it on and then put the battery cable back on sometimes that bypasses the alarm
Did battery sit as long as car? Did you disconnect both battery leads? Did you recharge it before trying to reconnect? How long is "awhile"? I'd try a fully charged battery.
