Hey, i recently bought a 2003 Mustang and I knew it needed some work. So far i’ve changed the Radiator, thermostat and radiator hose. Fan is good. but the car only overheats when the AC is on. if the AC is off it never overheats. the heater also does not work and just blows out cool air

Your fans are not working fine. Check them first. For the heat issue, check the coolant level, if it is ok, then you may have some air in the system (especially in the heater core).

Fans should kick on when ac is on. likely your overheating issue.

Sounds like you need some new fans.
