Hello Scotty, I have a 2003 Lexus LX470 automatic with 150,000 miles. I bought it back in 2015 from the Lexus dealership with 68,000 miles and since then it has been having an issue with the steering wheel turning to the left. The car has not been in an accident, it does not pull to the left or right even if I let go of the steering wheel the vehicle runs straight, it also looks straight when driving behind it. I have taken it for alignment multiple times, but after about 4 months or so the steering wheel starts turning to the left on its own little by little, I let it go about 45 degrees and then I align it again. Do you happen to have an idea what could be? No OBDII codes
Thank you.
Diego.
it does not pull to the left or right
Then leave it.
It's a 20 year old high mileage car. I wouldn't dump more money into it.
Well normally that's some kind of alignment or front end part issue like worn ball joint or tie rod but occasionally the power steering rack can go and then it gives too much assist to one side and it will veer to that side.
Thank you much Scotty. I appreciate it.
