My dad is in the market for a used truck and he really wants a manual transmission.
I have found him a good deal on a Used 2019 Nissan Frontier pro 4X. He loves everything about the truck except for one thing. The 3 spoke steering wheel. He loves to drive with his hand resting on the bottom of the steering wheel but with Nissan's massive bottom spoke on their 2nd generation Frontiers he can't do that. It seems silly but it's a deal breaker for him.
I am wondering is it possible to swap out the steering wheel for a different one, or would that cause all sorts of issues with the airbags and steering wheel control buttons. I found a Nissan steering wheel for a similar time period Altima sedan, link provided below. Would it be a simple swap or is it much more complicated than that?
We are even considering buying the truck and then removing the steering wheel to rotate it and reposition it 180 degrees so it is upside-down.

Yes. Do not change the steering wheel out for a different one. Leave it alone if you plan on purchasing this truck.

I get that you're trying to figure out "how to" do this. I get that. However, you're also asking someone here to tell you how to do something that might make your airbag malfunction.
