Hey Scotty, I saw a 2003 Nissan Maxima SE for $1800 with 115k miles on it. Is it a good buy for longevity, reliability, affordable repairs and maintenance costs?

Those older Maximas are pretty good cars - not even comparable to the stuff Nissan makes now. Have a trusted mechanic check out the car before you decide to buy. If things look good mechanically, I would say that can be a solid commuter car to put miles on. That seems like a fair price for one of those.
