hello, I’ve been looking at a 2016 Kia sorrento LX 4cyl and a 2016 optima EX. Same price and certified for more space I was thinking about getting the sorrento. Does anyone know anything about either and are they reliable ?

They can be until about 100k miles and then they start to fall apart but Scotty has a video on a 2016 Sorento and 2017 Forte, you can check it out below:

Thanks so much! I’ve literally saw every other video but that one on the sorento.

Apart from these 2, what are your other options?

I wasn’t looking at anything else just those two.

As @yaser mentioned, if you want your cars to last long (10+yrs), get a Toyota or a Honda instead.

Get an older Toyota or Honda instead.

Consider a 2012 2013 or so Toyota Highlander or 2012-2017 Toyota Camry, they are competitors of the Sorento and Optima, which are nearing decent, but not half as reliable as those cars.
