I'm looking at 2003 Toyota Highlander with 210,000 miles. It's a one owner vehicle that has amazingly clean interior and exterior for the year. The seller is asking 5,000.00. In your opinion, is this a good deal for the milage? Are there any concerns that I should have about that specific year?
I need a decent reliable SUV on a TIGHT budget (6500.00 max) Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

Sounds like a lot of money for a 20-year-old vehicle with over 200,000 miles. You don't know how it's been maintained and treated over the last two decades (what if the trans has never been serviced?) so you can't rely on Toyota's reputation to presume it is going to be reliable. Even if well maintained there will be problems due to age. Have it checked out thoroughly by a good mechanic before purchase if you proceed.
It has been reported that model year Highlander should be avoided due to engine problems with the 4-cylinder engine, mainly cylinder head bolts stripping out of the block. (You did not state what engine it has.)

Try to get the price a lot lower especially for a vehicle with that age and mileage.
