Hey scotty! I recently purchased a 2004 Acura TL with 89k miles on it. The previous owner babied the car and it even had a brand new Acura battery in it, which makes me really think they took great care of it. Thoughts on the 2004 Acuras? I know it's a honda brand, but I don't know how great that batch of TL's were.
Those are great cars but make sure you take care of the car by following the regular maintenance. Two things are very important at this age/mileage:
The transmission service by changing the fluid with Honda OEM fluid only and the timing belt service. To keep the car running strong, you don't want to neglect these services.
Why does a new battery make you think they took care of it? Did they provide you with complete service records? Don't assume anything. The advice by @yaser is gold.
Thank you @Doc. I appreciate it.
De nada.
I think you should be good with that generation TL. The previous generation had some automatic transmission problems. I believe this generation fixed it.
