2004 Focus Battery Drain

Hello everyone, my mother in law has a 2004 Ford focus ZX3 2.3 with 120K miles. earlier this year i replaced a bad alternator and a month ago replaced bad battery. after replacing the battery the instrument panel stopped working and the door chime intermittently stops now. all was fine for about a month until she let it sit for 4 days over the holiday weekend and would not start. i just went today and jumped it off and had the battery and alternator tested. Battery and alternator both tested perfectly and the car turned off and on fine after driving to the parts store. im thinking the instrument cluster may be shorted out and causing a drain but i havent taken it out to inspect it yet. any ideas or advise would be greatly appreciated so i can get granny back to revving up her engine. Thanks

Scotty's done a few useful videos on this topic. Here's one of them.
