Hi Scotty, I have a 2004 Ford Focus with the 2.3 PZEV motor. It is a 5-speed manual with 144,000 miles. For years now I have been unable to fill it up completely with gas; if I do, it will run rough and stall at stoplights until it burns off about a gallon. Lately, however, it's been hesitating under speed, with less than a full tank (though not stalling at idle). Any ideas?

I would replace the evap canister vent valve and the charcoal canister for the EVAP system and Prius that simple though it was old as it is it could easily be the fuel pump is starting to wear out too
