I have a 2004 Ford Taurus SEL with the 3.0l DOHC 24v engine with 111k miles, currently it has no codes on it and pray it stays like that, but there seems to be a couple minor issues, Currently My auto headlights stay on all the time, i have to manually turn them off during the day to save my bulbs from the texas heat, but I cant seem to find anything online about it, any suggestions on where i could start to look?? theres also an issue with the heater during the winter where it sometimes works when it felt like it but sometimes took the day off (the ac works perfect), the coolant level was a little low so i topped it off and it still didn't work, as much as the texas heat basically never leaves it was a pain on those colds days with no heater, also have any ideas where i could start looking for that too???

Well the heater can be a real pain to take apart. The dash of that car is over $1,000 job. You might try flushing the heater out using some flush, just like a flush your radiator. But if the headlight stay on, you have to manually turn them off. I would assume you have some kind of problem either in headlight search itself or in the body control module that ultimately controls it. If it's the module I live with it cuz it cost a ton and have to be reprogrammed
