I want to keep my 2004 Honda Pilot 236,000 mile…I’m told it needs new rack & pinion steering, head valve cover is leaking, and a few less expensive repairs..total ~ $3600.00…car runs fine, I don’t see any leaks, no steering problems but now I’m concerned over taking long trips….given the age/ mileage is it wise to do these repairs..I hope to get another 70,000 miles…the newer pre- owned cares don’t measure up to my honda

I would not bother getting the repairs on that vehicle if it costs that much in total.

Get a second opinion on the repairs as well as the costs.
