Hey Scotty, I have a 2004 honda pilot that runs fine but sometimes it cranks and doesn't start; I have to wait like 1min or longer then I turn the key and as if nothing was ever wrong with the car. This only happens randomly it usually always starts up. There is no check engine light on. I have changed the fuel pump, spark plugs, ignition coils, cleaned the mass air flow sensor and the throttle body. I have also changed the air filter and it still keeps doing the same thing. A mechanic told me it might be my fuel pressure regulator but I want to research more before I change another part that isn't broken. Let me know if in your experience you have ran into a situation similar like this one or if you heard any other honda pilot having same symptoms thanks.

Check the fuel filter. You could check the fuel pressure regulator as well. Are you getting the proper compression for your engine?

Check for proper operation of the pcv and egr valves.
