Bought the mini back in July. It has done 160000 miles. The car runs very well when in speed, but when it is idling, say waiting for lights, it shakes really bad. I know very little about car mechanic. So here I am trying to figure out what is wrong with the car. Thanks for any reply and advice!

Well dozens of things can make him shake worn motor mounts worn transmission mounts worn out spark plugs dirty fuel injectors you name it. So start simple like checking the motor mounts or have a

Scan it for codes. Check for vacuum leaks around intake manifold.
