I’m thinking about buying a 2004 Ford Mustang V6 convertible, but I was wondering what types of potential problems I should be aware of before purchasing?

Well the convertible part is the big problem. Those tops leak all the time and their just a hassle to own unless you live in California or someplace it rarely rains and never gets cold. You didn't say how many miles the car has so idk but I personally think you could find a much better car than that.
