i am looking at a 2004 350z and looking for opinions
manual, convertible, 115000 miles
drive a couple times/month
I wish you luck finding one not beaten the heck out of by ricers and 'racecar' drivers. If you do find one it's a unicorn! Don't let it go.
I love the 350Z. One of the few Nissan’s I’d get. But I don’t love the people that drive the 350Z because they drive that like crazy. Which makes buying a used one tough. If you can find one that is on good shape, why not.
At that mileage, I would pass. People drive the heck out of those things. You didn't mention price and how it was driven but if it was driven hard, the engine and/or transmission will need a rebuild sooner than later.
I have an 04 350z auto hard top
The car is a blast to drive
Po mans porsche
Fortunately Mine has 25k on the odo and was driven very conservatively by po
The negatives imo are the sound system and the urge to drive it hard
Not a big fan of the convertibles style and at 115k might be looking at a new clutch soon
Other than that the motors are fantastic, the body is beautiful and the thrill is euphoric
The 3.5 imo is one of nissans best

It depends on the car condition, maintenance history, and especially the owner. If it is owned by a young person, I would pass.
this guy has owned it for 14 years, seems to be in excellent condition, i would have bought it by now, but it is 400 miles away
Yeah, that 400 miles away is something to consider. Unless you go there and be able to show it to a good mechanic, I would not consider it at all.
Nice!
You will absolutely love that 350
I know I love mine
Enjoy!
