I found a 2004 toyota tacoma with 178k miles in really good shape on craigslist. It is being sold for 1,200 bucks, and this one is not a scam. I guess i really have two questions, one, is this a good buy if everything checks out and two, is it going to be a huge hassle because of the fact it is in richmond indiana and I live in Little Rock Arkansas.
How do you know it’s not a scam?
I guess I don't know 100%, but they guy texted me back and sent me more pictures because it had a couple of dents and i asked to see where they were, and he gave a lot of information about it

Check for a very rusted frame very carefully
that could be a snowbelt aka rust bucket
Have it inspected and check the title.
