Hello Scotty,
By the looks of brake fluid color in my Toyota Tundra I need to flush it soon.
Q: Do I need to have a scan tool to do this due to the truck being equipped with ABS? Someone mentioned it to me when I purchased the truck over 3 years ago.

standard bleed procedure. If you're careful not to introduce any air then shouldn't have to touch the ABS. That being said, I do most of my own vehicle work, and I'd still rather pay a mechanic to power bleed the breaks. They can have it done in the same amount of time it takes me to buy a bottle of brake fluid, and I don't have to clean up after. It's quicker, more reliable, and less risky.

So you are not a mechanic?
