I found a 2003 toyota 4runner v6 with 240k miles for $4800, I am planning to use it as my daily car and for work, The owner claims it is in good condition.
Is it a good buy?
Is it going to last with the high mileage?
Is it going to make me spend a lot of money to maintain it?
What are the things I have to look for and ask about before I purchase the car?
Its got a good amount of miles so have a mechanic check it out and definitely haggle on the price.

People sell high mileage Toyota because there is something wrong with them.
Definitely get it inspected, but that is likely too high of mileage to be depending on daily.
I would be wary... But at least make sure you get it inspected if you do decide to buy it.
