Hey Scotty, what do you think about a 2004 Volvo s40 with a v8 in it. Someone I know is selling it to me for $200. The tranny is about to go but until then I think it will be a pretty nice car. It will be my first car so I can’t afford anything expensive.

If you can't afford anything expensive do not buy that Volvo that's going to need many thousands of dollars worth of work
