Hey Scotty I got a 2005 Acura TL with 100,000 miles. I bought it from an elderly couple, it came with all the owners manuals as well as the maintenance log book with all the recent maintenance. Anyways my license got suspended about a month ago so the car has been sitting. I start it everyday and let it run for 10 to 15 minutes so the battery doesn't die. The other day after it was warmed up I reved it to 2000 rpm and the belt started making a loud squealing noise, it only does this under acceleration or when it's being revved past 2 to 3 thousand rpm, when it's idling it's silent. What could this be? The check engine light is not on and the timing belt and water pump was done at 87k miles, the car now has 104k.
Inspect the belt. Odds are you need to change the belt.
Belt condition and tightness. Maybe some crud on the pulleys or tensioner.
