Hi,
My Chevy Colorado 2005, 3.5L ,I5, automatic, with 139000 miles, shifts hard when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. It does this if i accelerate quickly during the first 10 minutes of driving when the engine is cold and warming up . When the engine is at operating temp, it shifts fine. The transmission fluid level is ok and there are no codes. Any idea what is causing this to happen?

To GM product they've weak transmissions basically I would live with it now if you change the transmission fluid and filter regularly every 30,000 mi change it now but if it's never been changed often they will not shift at all when you're done

I did as you suggested and changed the transmission fluid and filter. It is shifting better now. Thank you.
