Found a 2015 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 with 158k miles and one previous owner. What makes this an attractive prospect, is the dealer has it listed for a relatively low price compared to other Tacomas (which is rare). Vehicle history report shows it had been in an accident with low-moderate damage, and the dealer hasn't tired to hide the fact the body needs work overall. Is it worth trying to scoop this up for a good price, or too much of a headache of dealing with the repairs on top of an already high-mileage truck?
The big question is whether the damage is cosmetic ( sheet metal) or have the electricals/electronics/fuel/brakes/cooling systems been damaged.
If it was front half of the truck, I'd definitely rule it out, rear end, I'd get a good mechanic to put it up on a lift and scope out where it's been damaged, and what systems have or may have been compromised.
