Hey scotty I have a 2005 ford f150 lariat with 189,000 miles 5.4 triton engine. Anytime i am driving my truck and I get into the overdrive gear and try to give it a little gas up a hill the truck seems to shake/chatter it feels like the rear end is bouncing or the tires bouncing it shifts through all the gears fine if im not giving it a little gas in 4th. We just recently found out it was low on tranny fluid and it kinda toned the shake down the rear end only has 65k on it and the ujoints are okay. could the torque convertor be bad or a bad mount that causes this to happen? thank you if you get to this.
Well not a torque converter if it only does it when you go in it overdrive the overdrive has been damaged from lack of fluid and it's too late now I was just live with it
