I just bought a 2005 Honda CRV today for $2,500. It has the 2.4 4 cylinder with 262,000 highway miles. It drives great. Did I make a good purchase?

Check up on oil and fluids regularly and it'll be fine.

I hope you had a trusted mechanic check it out first.
If not, take it to your mechanic ASAP to make sure everything is in good working order.
That year CRV is extremely reliable. If the previous owners did the regular scheduled maintenance, it could last for another 100K.
Contact a local Honda dealer and ask them to look up your vehicle's VIN number to verify that all recalls have been fixed, especially the Takata airbag issue.
