Hey guys,
I own a 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8 with a 5 speed manual and 127,000 miles. For the past few weeks, when I went into reverse after starting it for the first time that day, it would shift fine. After it warmed up, it felt like the shifter caught halfway into gear, and I needed to shift into 1st, then back into reverse. Since then, it's started happening with 1st, and sometimes 2nd and even 3rd, but I can usually get it into the forward gears with a bit of force or backing off and trying again. I've heard this could be the clutch being worn, but could there be other causes? I work at a certain tire and repair chain, is there some test I can do or data I can look for on the Snap-On to help narrow it down?
Scotty said clutch when I ask about this and the shop I take it to agreed with him
