Hey I have a 2005 s80 Volvo 2.5t so before I go anywhere I crank my car up it shows the reduce engine performance and if I put it in drive it won’t go, so in order to drive it I have to turn the car back off crank it back up and the sign will go away and I can drive my car normally until I stop at the store and cut my car off and have to do the same thing over. Can you please tell me what’s wrong I changed everything on it it has a new throttle body new air flow mass sensor new air filter new air filter box new starter new fuel sensor I just don’t know what’s wrong. Please help me thank you
Realize those are insanely complex vehicles. And as the age they can become super expensive. To fix. You'll need a guy like me to hook up a fancy scan tool and when it has the reduced power, analyze all the data to see what is not working. It could be anything from a computer failure to a wiring failure to a fuel injector failure to a fuel pump failure to dozens of other things. You have to get the data and see what is going wrong. And of course do have your battery and alternator load tester is the battery is weak that can often happen
