I have a 2005 scion xb with about 140,000 miles. Sometimes when I turn the car off the door lock tabs go up and down and then I cannot open the doors from the inside. This has happened to the front driver and passenger doors I don't know how the back doors react.
When I push the unlock button on the armrest or the FOB it will quickly lock again and if it doesn't lock again it won't fully unlock and you can't manually pull it up.
Playing with it it eventually unlocks. It has been randomly happening the past month and this was the third time it happened.
Any idea what may be going on?
